Obituary

Donna L. Jacob, 71, died Saturday, February 3, 2012 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born December 15, 1940 at Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Harold and Dorothy (William) Hale.

A Sedgwick resident since 1961, she was a bank teller and bookkeeper for Jacob and Sons, Sedgwick. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead; Modern Moms, Sedgwick and was a Sedgwick community volunteer for many years.

On December 16, 1961 she married Larry G. Jacob in Wichita. He survives. Other survivors include sons; Mark (Rebecca) and Rick (Dee) Jacob, Sedgwick; Rob (Cyndi) Jacob, Wichita; daughter, Christy Jacob, Sedgwick; brothers, Harold (Linda) Hale, Kansas City, Missouri; Mark Stiner, Edmund, Oklahoma; sisters, Charalotte, (Pat) Alkire, Wichita; Dorothy (Pete) Smith, Newton; step-mother, Norma Pardun, Colorado Springs, Colorado; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ken Hale.

Rosary will be Wednesday at the Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 9 at the Church with Father Stephen Baxter officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
