Obituary

Richard H. Roberts, 79, Hutchinson, died January 19, 2012. He was born February 17, 1932 at Hutchinson, the son of Robert and Anna Zismann Roberts. He was a Burrton High School graduate, attended Hutchinson Junior College, Colorado State University and Bible Baptist College.

He was a pastor for 27 years and had also been a Millwork Engineer. He was a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict.

On December 31, 1952 he married Dona M. McMannis in Burrton. She died October 5, 1998. His survivors include five sons; Michael Roberts, Stillwater, Oklahoma; Pat Roberts, Hollywood, Florida; Dan Roberts, Burrton; Bret Roberts, Tim Roberts, both of Hutchinson and a daughter, Diane Williams, Great Bend, three sisters, Dorothy Mauldin, Cartersville, Georgia, Margaret Landis, Marxhall, Texas; Kathy DePew, Aurora, Colorado; `14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, William.

Services were held January 23 at Penwelll-Gabel Funeral H ome and Crematory. Burial followed in the Burrton Cemetery.
