Obituary

Joyce Elaine Conley, 78, Halstead, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at Newton Medical Center. She was born February 5, 1926 at Chicago, Illinois, daughter of Albert and Ella J. Van Ness Woods. She ws a receptionist at Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Santa Monica, California.

On August 10, 1946, she marriee Leland Morris Conley at Santa Monica, California. He preceded her in death in 1984.

Survivors: three sons, James Conley, Cedar City, Utah; Steven Conley, Conroe, Texas; and Kenneth Conley, Halstead; 55 grandchildren and one great grandchild.


Services were held May 8 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
