Obituary

Beatrice Virginia Friesen, 92, Halstead, died Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at her residence. She was born June 4, 1911 at Ft. Benton, Montana, daughter of Charles F. and Octavia Williams Garret.

She was a homemaker and had resided in Halstead since 2001 when she moved from Salina. She was a member of Sixth Avenue Christian Church, Havre, Montana and Order of the Eastern Star.

On Octobet 18, 1931, she married Peter F. Frieen at Havre, Montana. He preceded her in death May 19, 2001.

Survivors: two sons, James Friesen, Halstead and Harold Friesen, Mountain View, California; sister, Leda Klundt, Kentucky; fourgrandchildren five great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Earl F. Garrett.

Services wre held April 16 at Kaufman Funeral Hoe. Burial was in Halstead Cemetery.
