Madeline Delores Hayes, 78, Halstead, died Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at Hutchinson Hospital in Hutchinson. She was born January 8, 1926 at Leal, North Dakota, daughter of Carl and Carolihe Pisek Brandt. She was a homemaker.
On April 5, 1975, she married Noel Victor Hayes at Newton. He preceded her in death January 10. 1998.
Survivors include three sons, Thomas Nester, Wichita; Gary Nester, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Dennis Nester, Halstead; two daughters, Sandrea Belden, Clarksville, Tennessee and Sharon Stockham, Hutchinson; two sisters, Marion Lewis, Andover and Bea Everson, Clay Center, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held March 6 at Halstead Cemetery.
