Obituary

Ruby June Hefling, 69, died Saturday, June 19, 2004 at her residence. She was born June 12, 1935 at Hillsboro, daughter of Edward and Martha Siebel Suderman. She was a homemaker, beauticisan and waitress in several restaurants in Halstead. She enjoyed collecting butterflies, bells, angels and sewing notions.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Halstead and Order of the Eastern Star.

On December 12, 1958 she married James M. Hefling at Hillsboro. He survives of the home. Other survivors: son, Duane Hefling and wife Shannon, rural Burrton; daughter, Denise Moore, Hutchinson; brother, Les Suderman, Hillsboro; two sisters, Hilda Hein, Hillsboro and Adena Schmidt, Fresno, California; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Edward and brother, Leon Suderman.

Services were held June 23 at the Church with Burial in the Halstead Cemetery.
