Mueller, Adam Theodore
Harvey County Independent
Adam Theodore Mueller, 100, North Newton, former Halstead resident, died Monday, January 12, 2004 at his residence. He was born January 8, 1904 at Meno, Oklahoma, son of Theodore Henry and Anna Becker Mueller. He was a retired college professor teaching at Bethel College and Phillips University. He also was a lecturer at Wichita State University. He was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Halstead; National Education Education Association and other professional associations. He was well known for breeding and developing new varities of iris and lillies.
He married Helen Elisaabeth Huebert on June 7, 1932 at Moundridge. She died December 14, 1975 at Halstead. She died October 14, 2001.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Voltaire Mueller; Edwin Mueller and Rowland Mueller; two sisters, Theodosia Mueller and Alkma Nazarian.
Survivors: two sons, Ted Mueller, North Newton and Lyman Mueller, Twin Falls, Idaho.
Cremation has taken place. Burial in Halstead Cemetery.
