Obituary

John H. Nold, 70, Sedgwick, died January 27, 2004 at his residence. He was born August 16, 1933 at Humboldt, son of John A. and Regina Heiman Nold.

He was a retired general foreman from Raytheon Aircraaft, Wichita and owner-operator of Nold Heating and Air. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead; Sedgwick Lions Club and Hicks-Davison American Legion Post #268, both of Sedgwick.

On March 7,1953, he married Doris Jean King at Humboldt. She survives of the home. Other survivors include; four sons, John A. Nold, Valley Center; Jerry Nold, Castaic, California; Jim Nold and Joe Hold, August; daughter, Julie Flory, Halstead; brother, Paul Nold, Wichita; sister, Dorothy Cockrell, Lake Isabella, California; 20 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Nold, an infant son, Sean Joseph Nold; five brothers, Clem Nold, Joseph Nold; L. C. Nold; Robert Nold and F W. Hold; two sisters, Donnie Nordt and Lorraine Wirth.

Rosaary will be Thursday at the Church in Halstead with Mass of the Christian will be Burial on Friday, January 30 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Newton. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas
