Obituary

Joanna D. Ressler, 43, Burrton, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at Presbyterian Manor, Newton. She was born January 16, 1961 at LaJolla, California; daughter of Robert F. and Exlida Lee Akers Collins. Both survive.

She was a homemaker and painter for Yoder Ornamental Concrete, Burrton, and was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Burrton.

Survivors include; companion, Howard Peacock, Burrton; two daughters, Vanessa Parkhurst, Buhler and Nicole Marlow, Hutchinson; her father, Robert Collins, Yuma, Arizona; her mother, Lee Collins, San Diego, California; brother, Craig Colley, Hawaii; two sisters, Cheryl Myers, Santee, California and Janya Collins, Valley Center, California; 4 grandchildren.

Services were held June 4 at Kaufman Funeral Home with Burial in Burrton Cemetery.
