Obituary

Barbara K. Stutzman, 64, former Halstead area resident, died July 6, 2004 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston. She was born September 27, 1939 in Newton, the daughter of Harvey and Mary Ewy Vogt. A lifelong resident of the Halstead
and Hesston area, she was a homemaker and master gardener. She belonged to Hesston Mennonite Church.

On September 27, 1957 she married Douglas Stutzman at Halstead. He survives. Other survivors include; two sons, David Stutzman, Hesston and Steven Kent Stutzman, Denver; daughter, Kathy Stutzman Ropp, Iowa City, Iowa; brother, Howard Vogt, Halstead; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grand children.

A memorial service was held Friday, July 9 at Hesston Mennonite Church. Burial was in Eastlawn Cemetery, Hesston.
