Obituary

Pauline Ellen Duby , 90, of Newton, former Halstead resident, died March 4, 2005 at Friendly Acres Retirement Commuity, Newton. She was born March 14, 1914 to Henry C. and Mable Reed Richert. She married W. L. Duby August 16, 1936 in Newton. He was the Halstead Grade School principal in the late 1930s and early 1940s. He died Februry 10, 1975.

She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church and was a retired teller from Midland National Bank in Newton.

Survivors: daughter, Deanna Dudy, Milton, Delaware. She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry C. Richert, Jr.

Memorial service was March 11 at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton with Pastor James Anderson. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton. Memorials to American Heart Association.
