Obituary

Orva R. Gillmore, 86, of Newton, sister of Gertrude Andrews of Halstead, died March 26, 2005 at Friendly Acres Retirement Community, Newton. She was born April 12, 1918 at Canton, daughter of Daniel and Marie Ratzlaff Buller.

She belonged to the First Church of God, Newton. On September 4, 1938 she married A. J. Gillmore Jr. at Newton. He died January 25, 1995.

Survivors: son, James, Newton; daughter, Rita Montgomery, Walton; three brothers, Virgil Buller, Oklahoma City; Elmer Buller, Wichita and Lee Buller, Colorado Springs, Colorado; two other sisters, Shirley Alwine, Hot Springs, Arkansas and Carol Darby, Tulsa, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Victor and a sister, Lucille Warr.

Services were held March 29 at the Church. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
