Obituary

Connie Janzen, 60, of Hutchinson, former Sedgwick resident, died March 1, 2005 at Hutchinson Hospital in Hutchinson. She was born May 30, 1944 at Newton to Gene E. and Naomi V. Barth Davison. On June 23, 1962, she married James Henry Janzen at Halstead. He survives.

She was a graduate of Sedgwick High School; a homemaker; past president of Hutchinson Civitan Club, Hutchinson; and past govenor of Oklahoma and Kansas Districts of Civitans.

Other survivors: daughter, Jennifer Willems, Hutchinson and four grandchildren.

Services were held March 5, 2005 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, with Rev. Richard Ratzlaff officiating. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
