Obituary

Ryan Keith Ragland, 27, Wichita, grandson of Marie Golbek, Sedgwick and nephew of Keith and Elaine Sundbye, Halstead, died Monday, January 3, 2005 from injuries received in an automobile accident.

He was born February 9, 1977 in Newton to Harold and Shirley Golbek Ragland. He graduated from Valley Center High School and then served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an electrician for Alcoa Aerospace Center, Hutchinson and had worked for McBride Electric.

Survivors: wife, Amber, of the home; parents, brother and sister-in-law, Brent and Janelle Ragland; brother, Brad Ragland, Wichita; step daughters, Brooklynn and Cyndee Dosey. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Harold Ragland and Henry Golbek, and grandmother, Ida Pope.

Services were held January 7 at Westlink Christian Church, Wichita, with burial in the Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick.
