Velma D. Suenram, 84, Moundridge, former Halstead resident, died December 4, 2005 at Memorial Home, Moundridge. She was born July 27, 1921 in Wichita, daughter of George and Emma Haiber Lehman. Both preceded her in death.

She married Raymond "Buss" Suenram on Janury 17, 1942 in Halstead. He survives of the Memorial Home, Moundridge.

She lived in Halstead until 2003 when she and her husband moved to Moundridge. She was a typist at Hertzler Clinic and a member of First United Methodist Church, both of Halstead.

Other survivors include son, Richard Suenram and wife, Karen, Syria, Virginia; daughter, Linda Ropp and Husband, Dan, Buhler; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Couch and stepbrother, Harold Morton.

Services were held December 9 at the Church with the Rev. Andy Torres officiating. Burial was in Halsted Cemetery.
