Obituary

Marilyn Deem Wade, 64, of Inman, former Halstead resident died Augst 8, 2005 at her home in Inman. She was born January 31, 1941 in Newton, the daughter of Edgar J. and Rebecca Deckert Deem. They preceded her in death.

She was a 1959 graduate of Halstead High School and attended Southwestern College in Winfield. She was a homemaker and librarian for Inman Public Library.

She married Larry Wade on September 10, 1960 in Halstead. He survives. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.

Other survivors: two sons, Jay Wade and wife, Trish, St. John and Randy Wade and wife Debbie, Norman, Oklahoma; two sisters, Aileen Miller, Hillsboro and Venice Swindler, Wichita; 5 grandchidren.

Funeral was held August 1 at Halsted First United Methodist Church with Rev. Nick Warner presiding. Burial was in Halstad Cemetery.
