Obituary

Kenneth Joel Glassman, 58, died of lung cancer on June 24, 2006 at his home in rural Burrton. He had lived in rural Burrton for 2 and a half years after moving here from San Diego, California. He was born October 26, 1947 at Brookline, Mass., to Marvin and Frances Hillson Glassman. He married Stacy D. Stephenson on November 1, 1997 at Las Vegas, Nevada.

He will be remembered by the professional world as a successful computer consultant valued for his intelligent and creative contribution to the business world.. Ken, though, was so very much more - a strong man who showed the world how to stand tall and face even the most difficult of life's lessons with bravery and integrity.

His family and friends will remember the joy and laughter he brought into their lives. They will treasure memories of his kind, generous nature and will take comfort in how privileged they were to be able to share this precious part of their lives with him.

He is survived by his mother, Frances Young, Laguna Woods, California; his wife and daughters, Taylor Dodge and Colby Dodge of the home; and a sister, Barbara MacNeil of Wakefield, Mass.

His father preceded him in death.

Graveside service was held June 26 at Burrton Cemetery.
