Obituary

Georgia S. Hagen, 90, died at Sedgwick Healthcare Center on April 11, 2006. She was born February 1, 1916, daughter of Reuben Payne and Cora Forney Price. She married Thorolf E. Hagen on December 10, 1990 in Newton. He survives of the home in Sedgwick.

She worked as a cook in several restaurants in the Sedgwick and Valley Center areas, including Betty's in Valley Center. She enjoyed creating and painting ceramics.

Other survivors: extended family members, Richard and Greta Hagen, Sedgwick; Ethel and Elmer Holbert and Joe and Susan Romano of Plattekill, New York; nephew, Victor and Beverly Hilberling of Owasso, Oklahoma and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death her parents and a daughter, Jacqueline Sue Benton.

Services were held April 14 at Petersen Funeral Home, Newton with Rev. Kim Beckwith of Sedgwick Christian Church officiating.
