Obituary

Emma Roice, 89, of Sedgwick, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Sedgwick. She had moved to Sedgwick six months ago from Yakima, Washington.

She was born September 8, 1916 at Sugar City, Idaho, the daughter of Alex and Marie Walters Treise. Both are deceased.

She was a retired warehouse worker for Associated Grocers in Seattle Washington, and a member of the teamsters in Seattle.

She married Loyd Davis in 1934 at Wapato, Washington. He died in October 1950.

Emma is survived by a son, Rod Davis, of Sedgwick, daughter, Cheryl Wheatley of Everetet Washington; sister, Frieda Menard of Yakima, Washington; 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Rae Draper; brothers, Alex, Henry, Harry and Ferdinand Triese; and a sister, Lydia Davis.

There was no funeral service. Inurnment was planned for Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick. Memorial to Hospice Care of Kansas.
