Obituary

Kathleen M. Schmidt, 74, of Moundridge, former Halstead resident, died March 1, 2006 at Moundridge Manor. She was born July 9, 1931 at Rich Hill, Missouri, the daughter of Nathaniel J. and Anna G. Esau Schmidt. Both preceded her in death.

She moved to Moundridge from Halstead in 1995. She was a bookkeeper for Farmers Cooperative Elevator Co., Halstead. She was a member of Grace Mennonite Church of God, Halstead.

Survivors: brother Harley Schmidt, Sharon Springs and sisters Frances Schmidt, Halstead and Elnora Unruh, Naples, Florida.

Services were held at the church on March 4 with burial in the Halstead Cemetery.
