Obituary

Alvin C. Unruh, 76, died October 28, 2006. He was born October 18, 1930 in Moundridge, the son of Jake C. and Caroline E. Seiler Unruh. A resident of Halstead, he worked for Farmers Co-Op, Halstead and was a farmer and stockman.

He belonged to Grace Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church, Halstead.

He is survived by five brothers, Eddie, Halstead; Glen, Grand Junction, Colorado; Richard, Sharon Springs; Donald, Newton and David, Gentry, Arkansas; two sisters, Lorene Hiebert, Iroquois, South Dakota and Dorothy, Olathe, Colorado.

Services were held November 1 at the church with Ministers Kenneth Smith and Marlin Unruh presiding. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
