Yoder, Tammee Lee

Harvey County Independent

Tammee Lee Yoder passed away at her family Hearts 4 Him Ranch near Halstead on Sunday, April 29, 1012. She was a transplanted Texan, whose favorite flowers were yellow roses and bluebonnets. She was known for her mischievous, laughing blue eyes and her vivacious spirit. She cherished her husband, family, friends, her horses and God above all else. She humbly served the Lord in her church Koerner Heights and was involved with the Newton Saddle Club.

She retired from United Airlines in 2001 and became a full time wife, mother, and grandmother. Her favorite pastimes were to play with her grandkids, ride her horse and listen to her husband sing. She also loved flying and scuba diving.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James K. Yoder, her loving sons and daughters Tuppence Weix, Amber Williams, Jessica Fleuter, Zachary Yoder, Zachary Williams, Jake Yoder, 12 grandchildren, her mother, Carol McMillen, Corpus Christi, Texas; her sister, Cyndee Jones, Palmer Lake, Colorado and her brother, Johnee McMillen, Crockett, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, John "Ed" McMillen.

Memorial service was held at Koerner Heights Church in Newton on Saturday May 5.
