Obituary

Iva Becker, 94, Halstead, died Friday, June 22, 1007 at Halsteaad Health and Rehabilitation, Halstead. She was born March 31, 1931 at Verden, Oklahoma, daughter of Benjamin and Emila Schmidt Jantz.

On April 30, 1944, she married Herman P. Becker at Chickasha, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death December 10. 2002/.

She was a member of Grace Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church, Halstead.

Surviors: three sons, Edward, Haven, Mississippi; Vernon and Kenneth, both of Halstead; two daughters, Virginia Becker, Burrton and Geneva Koehn, Halstead; brother, Ervin Jantz, Goshen, Indiana; four sisters, Annie Ratzlaff, Moundridge; Ruby Koehn, Galva; Pauline Decker, Sedgwick and Elizabeth Crawford, Norman, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Harry Jantz and Lincoln Jantz; sisters, Leona Jantz, Mildred Koehn and Melinda Schmidt.

Services were held June 25 at the Church. Memorials to Hospice.
