Obituary

Mary M. Eshelman, 95, of Hutchinson, died at the Hutchinson Hospital May 20, 2007. She was a lifetime Harvey County resident, a graduate of Sedgwick High School in 1929 and she moved to Hutchinson in 1984. She was born February 25, 1912 in Portland, Kansas to John Andrew and Grace Zora Sheperd Zaring.

She married Harry E. Eshelman in Sedgwick on February 21, 1934. She was a homemaker and with her husband farmed in Harvey County for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hutchihson. She was a former Harvey County 4-H Leader; member of the Community Club; EHU; a Sunday School teacher and a member of the United Methodist Women.

Her husband passed away May 29, 2005. She is survived by a son, Joe Eshelman, Stafford; two daughters, Connie Davison of Hutchinson; Norma Whitney of Golden, Colorado; sister, Vonda Herder of Yates Center; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Veryl Zaring and a sister, Verda Paff.

Services were held Mary 24 at the church in Sedgwick. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery.
