Obituary

Howard Virgil Ewy, 71, died Ocxtober 19, 2007 at his home in Newton. He was born June 5, 1936 in Newton, the son of Milton Herbert and Elinor Marie Ruth Ewy. A resident of Newton, formerly of Halstead, he was a Xerox service technician. He belonged to the First Mennonite Church in Halstead.

Survivors include his mother, Elinor Ewy, Halstead; a sister, Ruth White, Hesston; two nieces, Amy and Greg Watts of Palmn Springs, California and Val and Paul McCutcheon of Newton; 2 great nieces and a step great nephew.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence. Committal service will be at the Halstead Cemetery on Thursday. with Rev. Cleo Koop presiding.
