Obituary

Virginia Lee Jones, 82, died at Wesley Towers in Hutchinson. She was born Novemer 13, 1925 in Hutchinson, daughter of Charles Keith and Gladys Gay Hilleary Copenhaver.

she married John Jefferson on February 9, 1947 at Wichita and he died June 2, 1968. She married Eugene Jones on March 23, 1973 in Hutchinson. He survives.

She is survived by her sons, Stephen Jefferson and his wife, Kathleen of Hutchinon; Daniel Jefferson and wife, Faye, of Hutchinson; daughters, Chrity Hafenstine and husband Doug of Hutchinson; Cindy Barnes of Hutchinson; step-sons, Charles Jones and wife Lisa of Phoenix, Arizona; Robert Jones and wife Vickie, Hutchinson; step-daughter, Brenda Link and husband Dean, of Apache Junction, Colorado; brother, Monte Copenhaver, Hutchinson; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is preceded by her sister, Miriam Louise Hall.

Services were at the Cemetery in Halstead.
