Obituary

Lois C. Scott, 87, Hutchinson, former Halstead resident, died September 25, 2007 at Good Samaritan Center, Hutchinson. She was born September 12, 1920 in Burrton, daughter of Andrew J. and Catherine Schilling Brown. She was a 1939 graduate of Halstead High School. She was the retired co-owner of Scott's Cafe in Haven and Halstead.
She was also a baker for the Raambler and Highlands, Hutchinson and was a home health aide for the Reno County Health Department.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Friendship club. She married John B. Scott Jr. July 31, 1940 in Wichita. He died December 11, 1982. Survivors: Kaye(Ronnie) Wright, Sarasota, Florida; Mike (Paula), Haven; Sherry (Wes) St. Clair, Altus, Oklahoma; Dick Scott; Peggy Miller and Cindy (Ken) Daniels, all of Hutchinson; sister, Rebecca Unruh, Halstead; son-in-law, Lee Wilson; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Wilson; sister, Dorothy Ewy and granddaughter, Kimberly Wilson.

Services were held September 28 at the church. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
