Obituary

Alma Arnold, 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Halstead Place in Halstead. She was born May 25, 1930 in Kingman, Arizona, daughter of Opal Moody.

Alma had been a long time resident of Halstead. She was the 1947 St. John High School Homecoming Queen and graduated from St. John High School in the class of 1948. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Halstead Baptist Church.

She held various professional positions throughout her lifetime and was a former employee of the Halstead Hospital.

Survivors: two sons, Dean (Susan) and Rex (Terry) Arnold; brother, John P. Moody and wife, St. John. She was a loving and caring person and will be missed by her family as well as a host of neighbors and friends. She was precedeed in death by her mother and a nephew, John Paul Moody Jr.
