Obituary

Helen Maxine Taylor Auernheimer, 86, died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Newton Medical Center, Newton. She ws born November 12, 1921 in Augusta to Thomas William and Una May Petterson Taylor. She was a graduate of Augusta High School.

On June 8, 1941 she married Edgar Willis Auernheimer in Augusta. He survives. She worked in housekeeping at Presbyterian Manor in Newton for many years.

Other suruvivors: five children; Lynn (Maxiene) Auernheimer, Canton; Cheryl Hoffman, Carlsbad, California; Carol Gibbens, Halstead; Joan Jacobbsen, Newton and Anthony "Tony" (and Audrey) Auernheimer, Salina; two granddaughters; four grandsons; one stepgrandson; three step-granddaughters and three step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Juanita Malan; Lorene Powers; Rosalie Powers; Sarah June Taylor and Norma Jean Taylor; brothers, George Taylor and Thomas L. Taylor.

Funeral service was July 17 at Goessel Mennonite Church in Goessel. Burial will be at the Hesston City Cemetery.
