Obituary

Elinor M. Ewy, 94, Halstead, retired instructor at Hutchinson Community College, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at her residence. She was born February 27, 1914 at rural Moundridge to Homer G. and Lydia Krehbiel Ruth. On June 11, 1935, she married Milton H. Ewy at Moundridge. He died October 25, 1989.

she was a member of Firsst Mennonite Church, Halstead; Helianthos; American Organ Guild; American Medical Record Assoc.; Harvey County Master Gardener and was a licensed pilot.

Survivors include a daughther, Ruth White, Hesston; Brother, Emry Ruth, North Newton; sister, Maxine Fast, North Newton; granddaughters, Amy and Greg Watts, Palm Springs, California; Val and Paul McCutchen, Newton; and 3 grerat grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at the Halstead Cemetery.
