Obituary

Marilyn J. "Callie" Jordan, 64, died May 22, 2008 at Hutchinson Hospital. She was born February 24, 1944 in Hutchinson, daughter of Ezekiel and Marcheta Hollingere-Jordan. She was a veterinarian assistant for 20 years and a fabulous homemaker. She enjoyed fishiing, gardening and people.

Survivors: mother, Marcheta Henrici and husband Guna "Manfred", a companion, Clyde Hull of the home; one son, Michael G. Leamon, McPherson; five daughters, Angel M. Bundy (Lyle), Hutchinson; Yvonne R. Lanning, Pueblo, Colorado; Sherry A. Lewis and companion Bruce Smith, Wichita; Patty Leamon and companion, Sandi Lichsteiner, Louisville, Ky.; and Nancy R. Schgmitt and husband Tony, Burrton; brother, LeRoy Jordan, Hutchinson; two step sisters, Tina K. and Laurel L. Henrici, both of Hutchinson; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; multiple stepchildren; two nephews and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, Ezekiel and a sister, Cheri Jordan.

A Celebration of Life was held Sunday at the Burrton City Park, Burrton. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contrbutions may be made to the Hutchinson Humane Society in care of Penwell-Gabel Runeral Home and Drematory, Hutchinson.
