Obituary

Louise Johnson, 87, former waitress, daycare provider and homemaker, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation, Halstead.

She was born November 10, 1920 at rural Sedgwick to Carl and Agatha Haynes Mornhinweg. Both are deceased. On April 17, 1941 she married Lester Leo Johnson at Marion, Kansas. He preceded her July 10, 1996.

Survivors: daughters, Joyce Stein, Halstead and Gloria (Sherrill) Negaard, Peabody, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Mornhinweg and sisters, Grace Hullett and Wilma Buller.

Services will be Friday, November 7 at Grace Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church, Halstead. Burial will be in Halstead Cemetery.
