Obituary

William Max Scott "Bill" was born August 12, 1935 in Arkansas City. He grew up in Hutchinson and graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1953. He later attended Hutchinson Junior College. He was a dispatcher for KPL in Hutchinson and in Topeka. He was transferred to Topeka in 1998. He retired from Westar Energy 12 years ago. He was an active member of Shawnee Heights United Methodist
Church.

He married Barbara Ann Scott on February 10, 1957 in Burrton.

Survivors: sons, Tim, Hutchinson; daughters, Tamara Kanatzar, Topeka and Jill Meacham, Burrton; 5 grandchildren; brother, Ronald,, Hutchinson and Ken, Lawrence.

Cremation is planned. Services were held at Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church on Wednesday. Inurment in Burrton Cemetery.
