Obituary

Kenneth H. Stucky, 93, passed away after a short illness on Friday, August 1, 2008 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice with his family at his side. He was born on September 14, 1914 at Alta mills to Christian and Susie Toews Stucky. On December 23, 1942 he married Marjorie Unruh at Halstead.

He was a farmer and lifetime car salesman. He enjoyed having coffee everyday at DeAngelo's with friends in Halstead. He was still driving until his short illness. He enjoyed looking at the crops and visiting family. He never missed a NASCAR race.

Survivors: Marjorie, Halstead; son, Kenneth and Ruth Stucky, Burrton; daughter, Virginia Faris; numerous grand children. He was preceded in death by a son, Keith; sisters, May Voth, Josephine Berger and Lucille Avery Shaffer.

Committal service were Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at the Halstead Cemetery.
