Obituary

Betty Jean Wiley, 84, of Jefferson City, Missouri, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born September 27, 1923 in LaPlata, Missouri, daughter of the late Glenn T. and Thelma Goldie Hayden Rampy. Mrs. Wiley was a 1941 graduate of Brashear, Missouri High School and attended Cosmetoloby School in Wichita. She was married in 1946 to Joseph B. Nole who preceded her in death in 1963. In 1965 she married Richard D. Wiley who preceded her in death on September 9, 1006.

She worked for Boeing Aircraft Company during World War II. After that, she was a PBX Operator for Hertzler Clinic in Halstead. She was a member of the Catholic Church and attended the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City. She enjoyed all occasions with her family, crafting, gardening, interior design, baking and homecaring.

Survivor: three sons, Dr. Terry Nold, Jefferson City, Missoourri; Randy Nold, Buena Vista, Colorado and Mark Nold, Chesapeake, Virginia; two step-sons; Richard Scott Wiley, Wichita; Doug Wiley, Wichita; five brothers, Gerry Rampy, Wichita; Don Rampy, Quincy, Illinois; Larry Rampy, Gravois Mills, Missouri; Richard Rampy, Jefferson City, Missouri; Jack Rampy, Madison, Indiana; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in deth by 3 brothers; Harold Rampy, Bob Rampy, Bill Rampy and one sister, Sandra Rampy.
