Larry L. Hiebert, 65, died Monday, March 8, 2010 at his residence in Sedgwick. He was born April 15, 1944 in Newton to Wilhard and Edna Hiebert. He married Connie S. Base in Sedgwick on May 21, 1966, she survives of the home.
He was a retired truck driver and farmer-rancher in the Sedgwick area. He enjoyed old cars, especially his Corvette and was a memberof the Mulvane Marauders car club. He looked forward to the Thursday "board meetings" coffee group at C. B. Tire.
He greatly enjoyed spending time with his loving family and friends. He especially enjoyed following his grandchildren's sporting events.
Survivors: Wife, Connie Base Hiebert of Sedgwick; daughter Kim and Kurt Summers of Sedgwick; daughter Lisa and Jonathan Hochstetler of Whitewater; sister, Judy and Larry Oakley, Wichita; mother Edna Hiebert of Newton and grandchidren.
Preseded in death by his father, grandson, Nathaniel Hochstetler; brother, Marlin and Roger Hiebert and sister, Karen Runco.
A service was held March 13, Chaplain Denny Bell presiding. Memorials to Hospice of Kansas.
