Edith F. Lincke, 89, retired Boeing Aircraft bookkeeper, died Monday, June 7 at Asbury Park. She was born February 10, 1921 at Diggens, Missouri to Harry Cardwell and Lenora Jane Cotton Rea.
A former Burrton resident, she moved to Newton in 2006. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Mt. Hope; Ladies of Foreign Wars, Charles City, Iowa and Disabled American Veterans, Wichita.
On June 7, 1980 she married Glenn A. Linke at Hutchinson. He died June 10, 1997.
Survivors: sister, Virginia Livingood, Wichita; 2 step-children; 3 step great grandchildren and one niece and four nephews. She was preceded in death by stepson, Garthe Lincke and a step-daughter, Cynthia Rowe.
Graveside services were held June 10 at Burrton Cemetery in Burrton.
