Dean E. Stratton, 76, Monroe ShockAbsorbers factory sales repreentative, died Thursday, March 1 8, 2010 at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation, Halstead. He was born December 7, 1933 at Weeping Water, Nebraska to Lee Roy and Virgie Mae Betts Stratton.
A U.S. Navy veteran, he was a member of the First Methodist Church and Lions Club, both of Halstead; American Legion Post, Lincoln Nebraska and Wichita Elks Club.
Survivors: wife, Karen Goodman, Valley Center; sons, Eric Stratton, Fairfax, Virginia; Breck Stratton, Lincoln, Nebraska; daughter, Paige Stratton, Thornton, Colorado and Wendy and Wanda Nelson, Nebrska; brothers, Leroy (Greta) Stratton, Trenton, Nebraska; Kenneth (Marilyn) Stratton, Weeping Water, Nebraska and first wife, Lorraine Stratton, Lincoln, Nebraska. He was preceded by a second wife, Sharon and a brother, Eugene Stratton.
Services will be March 26, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, Halstead with Rev. Jennifer Whitt officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cenetery at Sedgick.
