Mary Margaret Talbott, 83, passed away September 27, 2009 in Stanwood, Washington. She was born to Harry and Agnes Hinton July 1, 1926 in Sedgwick. She graduated from Sedgwick High School in 1944.
She worked with her husgand as owners of Stanwood Jewelry but her most important work was as a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, walking and playing with her dog and cat. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marysville, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Edgar Tlbott, of over 50 years; brother, Gene Hinton and sister, Elnora Fischer. Survivors: Leighton P. (Christi) Talbott of Stanwood, Washington; Donald B. Talbott of Camano Island, Washington; Kristyne A. (Stanley) Messer of Port Ludlow, Washington; Jeanette (Larry) Coate of Seattle, Washington; siblings, Harry Donald Hinton, Newton; Pat Coffman, Sedgwick; Billie Vetter, Newton; 5 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
A rosary was held September 30, 2009 at Weller Funeral Home in Arlington, Washington and a funeral service was held October 2, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Marysville, Washington.
A burial service will be April 9, 2010 at Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick, Kansas with Father Steve Baxter officiating.
