Allen R. Thomas, 57, of Sedgwick, died April 19, 2010 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. He was born July 17, 1952 in Newton to William B. and Naomi Behymer Thomas. He married Celia Poellot on February 12, 1988. She survives of the home.
Allen was self employed. He was a member of the Sedgwick Christian Church. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his loving family and many friends.
Survivors: wife, Celia Poellot Thomas of Sedgwick; sister, Lorna Preston, Newton; sister Beverly Hilberling, Owasso, Oklahoma, brother, Bill B. Thomas, Augusta; stepson Troy Williams, Wichita; stepson, Chad Williams, Arvada, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jack Thomas and Jerry Thomas; sisters, Judy Spencer and Mabel Stamback.
Services were held April 23 at Sedgwick Christian Church.
