Kelly Koehn passed away on January 2, 2007 while living in Boutte, Louisiana of a heart attack. He was born in 1955 at Newton, Kansas.
He loved music, his wife and the ocean. Kelly lifeguarded and ran the Halstead pool. He played in the Halstead High School Band (tuba, sousaphone, bass guitar and stringed bass). He participated in basketball and track. He attended Emporia State University, worked as a building engineer and was a licensed realtor.
Kelly is survived by his wife, Sherrill Shrunk Koehn of Los Angeles, California. They were married in Hawaii in 1987. Kelly is survived by his three siblings, Terril Koehn of Topeka, Dawn Koehn Yonally of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Wade Koehn
of Boutte, Louisiana.
