The people of Burrton and vicinity were greatly shocked and grieved to learn of the death of Carl Petersilie which occurred at the Methodist hospital in Hutchison last Friday evening.  He was injured about a week before our in Ness county, by having a horse which he was riding fall.  He was brought to the Methodist hospital for treatment but death resulted on Friday.  The funeral ws held at the Methodist church in Burrton on Sunday afternoon.  It is seldom that a death has occurred in this community tht has caused such great sorrow among the people as a whole.  Carl was one of the most popular young men of the neighborhood.  The sympathy of all is extended to the heart-broken father and mother and sisters.
