John Jay Venso
John Jay Venso passed away at the Axtell Christian Hospital Tuesday evening (April 19, 1937) at ten o’clock following a brain concussion suffered Saturday night. Mr. Venso’s home was RR3, East Broadway.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at three o’clock at the Sprinkler Mortuary and interment will be in the Greenwood cemetery. Rev. Sophia Fluke of the Church of God will officiate.
Mr. Venso is survived by his wife, Bertha (Phillips) Venso, two children, Neil of Hutchinson and Homer of the home, two brothers and one sister, Joe of Newton, Charles of Dequiney, La., and Mrs. Noah Rogers (Cora) of this city. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
