Obituary

John Richard Ragland died at Bethel Hospital yesterday morning. The death was caused by apoplexy and sugar Diabetis. Mr Ragland, who was 63 yearss old, has been a resident of Newton for the past twenty three years.

The near relativies are Mrs Ragland and 4 daughters and three sons,who are Della Venso,Nellie Warhurst,Emma Warhurst and Cledith Wilkins of Newton. Claude , OF Parsons,Cecil of Chicago and John who lives at the home.

The furneral services will be held at the Duff and Son funeral parlor,Friday afternoon at 3:00. Rev Hardy of the Baptist church will be in charge of the services and burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
