Daniel Corrie Jefferson, 57, died Friday, August 24, 20112 in South Hutchinson. He had been a longtime resident of the Hutchinson area. He was a retired printer, having worked in various businesses. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed computers and was a Denver Broncos fan.
He was born January 2, 1955 in Wichita to John W. and Virginia Lee Copenhaver Jefferson.
Survivors inclued; daughters, Michelle and (Rick) Wray of Hutchinson; Jennifer and (Steve) Boren, Memphis, Tennessee; son, Jeremiah Bass of Ottawa; grandchildren Logan Cain; Jacob Wray and Clarke Boren. Brother, Stephen and Kathleen Jefferson, Hutchinson; sisters, Christy and Doug Hafenstine of Sterling, Kansas; Cindy Jefferson of South Hutchinson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, august 29 at Kaufman Funeral Home iin Halstead. Burial followed in the Halstead Cemetery.
