Henry Trippel passed away at his home on South West Fifth Street, Wednesday morniing at 8:30 after an illness of several months. Mr. Trippel was an old man of 72 years and had apparently been in good health until about two months ago, when he was taken ill with cancer of the throat. He underwent an operation in January from which he did not fully recover.
He is survived by his wife and ten children, who will greatly miss him.
The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at the Lutheran Church in Newton.
