Armour, John

Sedgwick Pantagraph

John Armour, who resided north of Sedgwick, died suddenly Sunday evening.  He was in town Friday and seemed to be in very good health.  He was the oldest son of Mr. & Mrs. James Armour.  He was about 56 years of age and one of the pioneer residents of this part of Kansas and was welll known in this locality.

For years he has had charge of the Armour homestead and cared for his parents who are quite old, and his death will be a sad blow to them as well as to the other members of the family.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. and interment was made at Hillside Cemetery.
