Abraham Dettweiler died Monday eveniing after an illness of but a few minutes with heart trouble. He was born and bapatized into the Mennonite faith at Hammerhof Byron, Germany in 1845. He came to Illinois in 1872 and to Garden township near Halstead in 1876. He was married in 1878 to Anna Fast who was a native of Poland. They had seven sons and two daughteers.
