Audrey E. Wonders, 83, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Newton Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born on March 3, 1929 in Wichita to Otto and Helen Moran. Adrian married Vernon Wonders on November 9, 1947 and he survives of the home.
She was a member of Meridian Baptist Church in Newton. She worked at Hesston Corp. prior to her retirement and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Auxilary and the Newton Eagales Lodge. She enjoyed bowling, bingo and camping.
She also enjoyed knitting and making baby blankets for her grandchildren and great grandchildren..
Survivors: husband, Vernon of the home; sons, Ron (Mary) Wonders; Gary (Beth) Wonders, both of Newton; daughters, Karen Wonders and Marilyn Luckey, both of Newton; Velma (Clude) Derringer of Warsaw, Missosuri; brother Carl of Salina; sister, Carol Tisdale, McAllen, Texas. She had 11 Grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Service were held September 8, 2012 at Meridian Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Kliewer presiding..
