Kathryn A. Lamia, 87, homemaker, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Ellsworth County Medical Center. She was born December 8, 1924 in Sedgwick to Robert Ernest and Clare Margaret Ropp Moulds. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Kanopolis; American Legion Post 231 Auxiliary, Halstead; and VFW Post 1432 Auxiliary, Salina.
On November 18, 1942 whe married Claire Henry Lentz at Newkirk, Oilahoma and he died November 1, 1977. She then married Jasper Lamia on March 17, 1979 in Kanopolis and he died July 15, 2001.
Survivors include stepsons, Leonard (Vicky) Lamia, Little Rock, Arkansas; James (Cindy) Lamia and Anthony (Diane) Lamia, all of Holyrood; brother, Dean (Patricia) Moulds, Wichita; sister-in-law Barbara Moulds, Monte Vista, Colorado; 4 stepgrandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Tom, Donald and Norman Moulds; and sisters, Pauline Prine; Evelyn Becker; Eleanor Bennett and Geraldine Vogel.
The Rosary and Massof the Christian Burial will be November 19 at Sacred Heart Church in Halstead with Father Stephen Baxter officiating. Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery.
